"Hello Mr Smith! You asked me to send a quick email across to let you know what we thought about the service we received from you and your team so here is the story...

The engineer arrived promptly and told us that it would not be financially viable to repair our existing boiler – we were upset by this news and this is when we arranged for a survey of our heating system.

David came to carry out the survey and unfortunately he was the bearer of bad news… you see, we had a boiler installed by another company just 3 years ago and we had thought everything was fine with it until the breakdown.

Valley explained to us that the reason our boiler had broken down was due to all the sludge in the system causing the boiler to overheat and then this had caused problems within the boiler, it wasn't actually a fault within the boiler itself. It would also appear that 2 of my radiators were leaking and also the gas pipe to the boiler wasn't even big enough.

To say we were upset by all this would be an understatement and I'll be honest and admit that I did seek a second opinion from a friend of friend that was "in the know" and it goes without saying that all the findings that had been given to me were 100% correct.

I received my quotations and decided to go ahead with having the system flushed, a new boiler and a Magnaclean filter fitted to the system as well. I would just like to point out that no other of the "so called" professionals had even informed me that this filter even existed!

After the boiler installation was complete the office gave us a call to ask if everything was to our satisfaction… I let them know that I was more than satisfied!

The whole experience has been a very stressful one for me and if it was not for the way I was cared for by all of you I think I would have gone up the wall!

I only wish I would have known about Valley Services beforehand then I wouldn't have had all these problems to begin with... I will not be making the same mistake again.

"My domestic central heating broke down a week before Christmas leaving me without heat or hot water. My usual heating engineer was busy, so I contacted Valley Services on the Monday. They were able to send an engineer out that day and he arrived at exactly the specified time. He diagnosed the pump had failed and needed replacing. He said a pump would have to be ordered and he would ensure the repair would be done before Christmas. The following day Valley Services rang to quote a price, which I agreed and said the engineer would come on Friday (23rd December) to do the work. They said it would be soon after 8.00am. On the Friday the same very pleasant and professional heating engineer arrived and within an hour had completed the replacement. He told me whoever had serviced the boiler had used tape instead of a seal within the boiler and he rectified this. The boiler has worked fine since then and I was delighted with the responsive service and excellent communication I received from Valley Services. I shall certainly be using them in the future.

Your engineer started on time and finished as he said he would without any fuss or mess. At the end of the visit he followed a check list and therefore we tested the colour of the water in our central heating system. Good job we did as it should have looked like off white but instead was thick and black. Your engineer did not try a “hard sell” but said if we were happy that he would get the office to quote for flushing the system and then explained what it entailed.
